Where it All Began; Rainbow Whole Foods

May 23, 2009
Rainbow Natural Foods Grocery CoOp is one mile away from the University Mississippi Medical Center Hospital (UMC) where my liver biopsy was performed and the Head of Gastroenterology Department gave me the "Death Sentence" of eight months to live based on the biopsy results of 96% scar tissue. The first place I went to after receiving the "Death Sentence" was Rainbow Natural Foods and sat down in the High Noon Cafe to have lunch and sort out the depressed feelings about my fate. Lucky for me, I sat down next to a Cancer survivor there at the service bar who during conversation and lunch together gave me some hope. With a full stomach of organic food and juice, I walked out of the High Noon Cafe with a new feeling of determination with a sense that I was doing the right thing with natural healing. I was in a much better mood than when I left UMC!
It was only fitting, 17 years later at 10 am on May 23rd, 2009 with no viral load or antibodies of Hepatitis A, B or C that I gave my first talk about liver health and my recovery. Brooke, Debora, Misty, Charlotte and Cameron attended with a few who passed by there in the plaza. I did not get far into my lecture before I was bombarded with questions. Some in attendance had received the death sentence as well and they made the decision to get well. Since Rainbow sells Hepatitis C, CURED in the store, they all bought a book and demanded that I autograph their copies. For the next few days after the talk, I received emails with more questions because they all read and enjoyed the book. All and all I had a good feeling inside because many of those in attendance made up their minds to get well. During my drive down to Pensacola, FL I knew in my heart that there would be more recoveries.
You should always have a choice to keep your own liver and you do not have to keep Hepatitis C!
Sincerely,
Johnny Delirious
